Hilary Williams

Hilary Williams's early interest in painting and sculpture led her to the formal study of fine arts and art history at Phillips Academy Andover, Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy, and Smith College in Massachusetts. She completed her degree in fine arts with a major in painting, at Washington University in St. Louis. She has been a part of both solo and group exhibitions and has done installation work with Sol Lewitt and Araki. Most recently, she continued her education in Montefiacsone, Italy where she studied recreating the medieval palette at the Montefiascone Conservation Project. While there, she learned to make pigments and lacs, and ultimately paint, from plants, minerals, and insects.

Hilary has been painting professionally in Denver since 2002, but has, and will travel to her clients. She has completed work from San Diego to Nashville to Wyoming.  She is adept at both modern and traditional artistry, and offers color consultations in addition to her painting and design skills. Her work is inspired by her travels and her clients. Specializing in murals, decorative design and custom finishes, Hilary works closely with each client in order to create an individual and unique space.
